Zach Kostersky – Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary
Zach Kostersky started dancing at the age of two at Dance Innovations in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Through training he discovered his love of tap and hip hop, which he extended in the future by training extensively in House, Popping, and Animation. In his teenage years, he was a part of the Canadian National Tap Team and represented Canada at the International Tap Dance Festival in Riesa Germany in both 2010 and 2013 as a group member as well as a soloist. He began his training as a teacher at 14 and has been teaching ever since. Zach’s main emphasis through teaching is always to help his students learn, but to do so in an enjoyable and memorable way. He moved to Vancouver in 2016 to pursue dancing as a career. He completed Harbour Dance Centre’s ITP (Intensive Training Program) under Moe Brody in 2017, and is currently training with KTL and is a Cast Member of Illustrative Society. He is currently working commercially and can be found as a dancer in Disney’s new Freaky Friday.
