I’m Kelly Konno, the creator & choreographer of these fun, calorie burnin’, groovin’, funky, exhilarating 1 hour dance classes.
I’m ecstatic to share my knowledge of dance with everyone. These dance classes are suitable to anyone who enjoys dancing & listening to great music… male, female, young & old. NO DANCE EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED! If you like good music, moving your body to the beat, burning calories while getting a full body workout & sweating, then these are the classes for you! Each week we will touch on a variety of styles ranging from street jazz, hip hop, tap, jazz, ballet & contemporary. I look forward to dancing with you!

* September Street Jazz classes will be focusing on basic Jazz dance techniques. No new dance routine will be taught in September.

Street Jazz Dance Class Description:
This street jazz dance class is designed for people wanting to learn basic jazz techniques, as well as a full street jazz routine. No previous formal training required. The class will start out with a jazz warm up, followed by progressions (travelling from one side of the room to the other using repeated jazz steps). For the last half of the class we will move into learning the choreography of one street jazz routine that I feel is appropriate for the level of dancers in the class. This class will work both your brain & body! If you have attended BDC & feel like you are comfy with doing the choreography in the cardio class & you want to push your body & brain a little further, then this is the class for you.
Beginner Tap Session (Tap shoes not required, though tap shoes would enhance the fun!)
* There will be no September / October Tap classes as of now. Check back for future dates that will be added.
CLASS PASS COST
Drop In Class = $20.00 (+ GST) Drop in’s are welcome, but only if space permits.
4 Class Pass* = $64.00 (+ GST)
8 Class Pass* = $120.00 (+ GST)

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING TO CLASS?
Workout Attire & Indoor Sneakers. Water Bottle. Sweat Towel. Yoga Mat for core workout/song (optional). Small handheld workout weights (1lbs – 4lbs) are provided for the weight workout/song. For a more intense weight workout, you are more than welcome to bring your own set of heavier weights (4+lbs).
